From a young age I enjoyed philosophy and music. My first instrument was the guitar and my approach to music was through 60's and 70's rock bands. With time I developed a taste for more sounds and complex ways of expression which took me through a more fusion and jazzy style.

Around 2011-2012 I got in contact with the Arabic music and their attractive rhythms. Later on, I got myself a Darbuka and sat down to listen and attempt to incorporate the odd rhythms from middle east into my playing . Nevertheless, my breakthrough came in 2013 (while travelling through Greece and Turkey) when I had the opportunity of trying the Turkish Oud. From then on I was captive to the most amazing possibilities of micro-tonality.

With time I gathered more experiences, traveled and discovered new styles and traditions from different areas of the Middle East. Now I play a variety of instruments (such as the Oud and the Afghan Rabab) and attempt to create bridges among cultures through music, ideas and experiences.

Desde muy joven disfruté de la filosofía y la música. Mi primer instrumento fue la guitarra y mi acercamiento a la música fue a través de bandas de rock de los años 60 y 70. Con el tiempo desarrollé un gusto por sonidos más complejos y formas de expresión que me llevaron por un estilo más fusion y jazzístico.

Hacia el año 2011-2012 entré en contacto con la música árabe y sus atractivos ritmos. Más tarde, logre conseguir un Darbuka y me senté a escuchar e intentar incorporar los ritmos del medio a mi expresión musical. Sin embargo, mi avance se produjo en 2013 (mientras viajaba por Grecia y Turquía) cuando tuve la oportunidad de probar el Oud Turco. A partir de entonces quedé cautivo de la microtonalidad.

Con el tiempo acumulé más experiencias, viajé y descubrí nuevos estilos y tradiciones de diferentes zonas del Medio Oriente. Ahora toco una variedad de instrumentos (como el Oud y el Rabab afgano) e intento crear puentes entre culturas a través de la música, las ideas y las experiencias.
