From a young age I enjoyed philosophy and music. My first instrument was the guitar and my approach to music was through 60's and 70's rock bands. With time I developed a taste for more sounds and complex ways of expression which took me through a more fusion and jazzy style.
Around 2011-2012 I got in contact with the Arabic music and their attractive rhythms. Later on, I got myself a Darbuka and sat down to listen and attempt to incorporate the odd rhythms from middle east into my playing . Nevertheless, my breakthrough came in 2013 (while travelling through Greece and Turkey) when I had the opportunity of trying the Turkish Oud. From then on I was captive to the most amazing possibilities of micro-tonality.
With time I gathered more experiences, traveled and discovered new styles and traditions from different areas of the Middle East. Now I play a variety of instruments (such as the Oud, Saz and the Afghan Rabab) and attempt to create bridges among cultures through music, ideas and experiences.

Desde muy joven disfruté de la filosofía y la música. Mi primer instrumento fue la guitarra y mi acercamiento a la música fue a través de bandas de rock de los años 60 y 70. Con el tiempo desarrollé un gusto por sonidos más complejos y formas de expresión que me llevaron por un estilo más fusion y jazzístico.
Hacia el año 2011-2012 entré en contacto con la música árabe y sus atractivos ritmos. Más tarde, logre conseguir un Darbuka y me senté a escuchar e intentar incorporar los ritmos del medio a mi expresión musical. Sin embargo, mi avance se produjo en 2013 (mientras viajaba por Grecia y Turquía) cuando tuve la oportunidad de probar el Oud Turco. A partir de entonces quedé cautivo de la microtonalidad.
Con el tiempo acumulé más experiencias, viajé y descubrí nuevos estilos y tradiciones de diferentes zonas del Medio Oriente. Ahora toco una variedad de instrumentos (como el Oud, Saz y el Rabab afgano) e intento crear puentes entre culturas a través de la música, las ideas y las experiencias.

The idea that motivates this website is the possibility of creating an intersection between music, philosophy and economics. Music is sensitivity, philosophy is the art of thinking and economics is action-materiality. In this way what is, for me, a divine triad is formed.
I believe that the world of the 21st century encourages us to operate in an extremely focused and reduced way. The economist sees as an economist, the artist as an artist and the philosopher as a philosopher. Interaction has been degraded to the point where no one can (or is allowed) to inhabit more than "one world": that of profession or absolute specialization with a single element of the universe of potentials.
Such problems of post-modern society (or post-modern capitalism) are what John Kennet Galbraith (1908-2006) referred to by saying that education would be so specialized that there will be brilliant scientists and technicians who can read intricate plans and program the most complex computer systems but they will not be able to compose music or write a poem (consider here not only the action of creating but we could extend the problem to another aspect: the ability to incorporate expression, become sensitive to a work of art and promote a critical attitude versus culture).
Offering only a glimpse of our potential is extremely common (it is noted in social networks where individuals adjust to promoting only a façade of their capabilities).
It is then that here I intend to form new recipes to carry out criticism from various angles, appealing to the intersection of various subjects. Thus I can only repeat that music is sensitivity, philosophy is the idea and economy is action-materiality. Each of these elements affects our lives individually and socially, which is why they must be addressed in a macro and general perspective, taking distance to formulate new ways and raising our heads to adjust the paths.

La idea que motiva a este sitio web es la posibilidad de crear una intersección entre música, filosofía y economía. La música es la sensibilidad, la filosofía el arte de pensar y la economía la acción-materialidad. De tal manera se conforma lo que es, para mí, una tríada divina.
Considero que el mundo del siglo XXI nos incita a operar de manera sumamente focalizada y reducida. El economista ve como economista, el artista como artista y el filosofo como filosofo. La interacción se ha visto degradada al punto en que nadie puede (o tiene permitido) habitar más que "un solo mundo": el de la profesión o de la especialización absoluta para con un solo elemento del universo de potenciales.
Tales problemas de la sociedad pos-moderna (o del capitalismo pos-moderno) son los que John Kennet Galbraith (1908-2006) refería diciendo que la educación sería tan especializada que habrá brillantes científicos y técnicos que puedan leer intrincados planos y programar los más complejos sistemas de computación pero no podrán componer música ni escribir un poema (considerese aquí no solo la acción de crear sino que podríamos extender el problema a otra arista: la capacidad de incorporar expresión, sensibilizarse frente a una obra de arte y promover una actitud crítica frente a la cultura).Ofrecer solo una arista de nuestro potencial es sumamente común (se hace notar en las redes sociales donde se ajustan los individuos a fomentar solo una fachada de sus capacidades).
Es entonces que aquí pretendo conformar nuevas recetas para llevar adelantes críticas desde diversos ángulos, apelando a la intersección en varias materias. Así me queda solo por repetir que la música es la sensibilidad, la filosofia la idea y la economía la acción-materialidad. Cada uno de estos elementos compete nuestra vida en forma individual y social, por ello deben ser abordados de forma macro y de perspectiva general, tomando distancia para formular nuevas maneras y levantar la cabeza para ajustar los caminos.
